Terms of Use

Last updated: July 9, 2026

1. About Evidence

Evidence (the "Platform") is clinical decision-support software intended exclusively for licensed health professionals (medicine, psychology, nutrition, physical therapy, dentistry, nursing, speech therapy, aesthetics, pharmacy, and related fields). By creating an account or using the Platform you represent that you are a health professional or student in the field and fully agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of the service — what Evidence is not

Evidence is not a medical device, does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment, and does not provide healthcare services. AI-generated answers are syntheses of scientific literature for informational and support purposes, and do not replace clinical judgment, individual patient assessment, or the rules of professional boards. Clinical decisions — and responsibility for them — always belong to the professional user.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. Users must verify cited references before applying any conduct. The Platform is not intended for emergencies.

3. Account and access

Full access requires signing up with email or a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. We offer a limited number of free consults for evaluation; volumes, features, and plans may change with notice on the Platform.

4. Patient data you enter

Features such as patients, records, and schedule let the professional register third-party information. In doing so, you represent that you hold a legal basis and, where required, consent for that processing, acting as the controller of that data — Evidence acts as processor, handling it exclusively to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We recommend identifiers (initials) instead of full names whenever possible.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Platform to:

  • obtain health guidance as a patient or for laypeople;
  • conduct unlawful or discriminatory activities, or violate professional-board rules;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or sublicense the service;
  • intentionally overload the infrastructure.

6. Intellectual property

The Platform, its brand, interface, and technology belong to Evidence. The data you enter (patients, notes, consults) remains yours; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the service. Generated syntheses may be used freely in your professional practice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evidence is not liable for damages arising from clinical decisions made by the user, temporary unavailability of the service, or events beyond its reasonable control. The service is provided "as is" during the current product phase.

8. Termination

You may close your account and request deletion of your data at any time via the contact email. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes and governing law

These Terms may be updated; the current version will always be on this page with the date above. Brazilian law applies; for consumer relations, the venue is the user's domicile. Using the service from other jurisdictions is permitted, subject to applicable local rules on professional practice.
